I have had my eye on this blue statement necklace for ages! I was waiting for it to go on sale and was thrilled to find it marked down at Woolies yesterday. Today I paired it with denim on denim … Continue reading
Yay for my Mr Price delivery which arrived in this rainy weather. I didn’t even have to leave the house or change out of my uggs, leggings and hoodie to get these great goodies. So much love for online orders … Continue reading
Two items in my wardrobe that I wear all of the time are sleeveless denim shirts I got from Mr Price. I couldn’t decide between a light denim or darker denim so in the end I bought both. The great thing about denim is you can wear it with pretty much anything – lace, aztec print, leopard print, leather or pair it with denim in a lighter or darker shade.
Change up your look with some accessories like a bold statement necklace and you can either button the shirt up fully or leave a button or two open. If you don’t feel like wearing any accessories you don’t need to either. You decide if you want to dress it up or dress it down.
Add some denim to your wardrobe and fall in love with it like I have!
These aztec earrings were such an amazing find at Mr Price the other day. a) I’ve been looking for some new trendy earrings and b) both pairs were only R19 each! I consider that a successful shopping trip.
Yesterday I was feeling particularly girlie when deciding on my outfit for work. I got quite a few compliments on this one because people have become used to only seeing me in jeans, slops and tees the last while. Top … Continue reading
Usually I get dressed up on Christmas day and wear a dress or skirt to family lunches. Today I felt quite laid-back and decided to rather just dress casually for lunch. The weather is overcast and drizzling and all I want to do is curl up under a blanket and watch TV all day.
Today’s casual OOTD was:
baseball top (PnP clothing)
boyfriend jeans (Woolworths)
glitter slop/sandals (Woolworths)
assorted silver jewellery (inherited, Gems & Jewels and YDE)
For my make-up I chose to do neutral eyes, bronzed cheeks and a bright coral lip. As for my hair I tied it up in a ponytail.
The last week has been super busy and retail therapy really does put me in a better mood. This last week I found some great things in the shops.
Lovisa is having a sale! Yippee! This is great news because the store in Cresta really had low levels of stock for quite a while and I thought they were closing down. I got a pleasant surprise when I walked past this evening and saw their shelves filled with accessories and sale signs. The ladies at the counter told me that they have loads of new stock coming and the sales will continue for a while so I should carry on popping in.
Bargains for tonight:
Believe bangle R30 (previously R85)
Hanging earrings R30 (previously R150)
Studs R50 (previously R100)
Bangles R50 (previously R175)
Stack rings R160 (unfortunately they weren’t on sale but I still had to have them)
Mr Price had 2 great monochrome items I wanted – scarf with crosses on it and a bangle. I am obsessed with bird accessories and fell in love with this swallow pendant necklace.
I saw these neon sandals on Instagram late last week and went on a mission to find them. I was lucky enough to find them and these gold and black ones at Woolies in Brooklyn Pretoria. The straps are made from elastic so they are nice and comfy for summer. I also saw them in red and gold.
Yay for shopping!
I did a little bit of online shopping from the comfort of my couch this weekend. Online shopping will never be the same as browsing through the actual store and seeing the items up close but it is handy … Continue reading
