I’ve seen a few bloggers do posts on products they’ve really enjoyed and I wanted to share some my April favourites with you. These are the products I really enjoyed using this last month and were generally the first that … Continue reading
Last year I bought myself a brown bomber jacket from Woolies and have worn it a hundred times! It really was a great buy. I wanted a jacket in brown to have a bit of a break from all the black in my wardrobe and when I saw it on the rack I knew it was the one.
A few weeks ago while browsing through Woolies I came across this gorgeous black quilted bomber. I immediately put my bag down and tried it on. It looked amazing and I knew it was my new jacket for winter.
The bomber jacket isn’t very feminine but luckily you can make them look a little more girlie when you pair them with florals, lace, dresses and skirts. Mine is a black quilted pleather bomber (another trend I currently love is leather!) but if that’s not your scene I’ve seen others online in soft floral fabrics as well. Most of the time I pair my jackets with a white tee and jeans and then either boots or pumps. This year sneakers are in, and there are some great styles and colours to choose from, so I’ll probably finish my outfit off with some sneakers for more of a sporty look.
These are some great jackets I found on Pinterest.
I also found this great site with 7 tips for wearing a bomber jacket.
I haven’t worn dark colours on my nails in ages so today I am sporting Essie’s Licorice. Loving it!
Okay so winter is still a few months away but the shops are already starting to unpack their autumn/winter stock. I’m one of the first people to cling to my summer skirts and sandals, even if that means freezing my tooshie off, because I hate wearing layers of bulky clothing that leaves me feeling like a marshmallow man.
Very rarely do I walk out of Pick n Pay Clothing without a top or cardi. Today I walked out with 2 great jerseys and a top.
I couldn’t decide between the neon jersey or the black one (both would look awesome with jeans and pumps) so I decided to get both (R125 each). The neon one for the days I feel like standing out and black one for every other day.
I also got another top (R69.99) with neon stripes that caught my eye from the bottom of the shelf. It has a boat neckline which I love because they are always very flattering.
In winter I often feel like the clothes are all dreary greys, browns and blacks and this year I can’t wait to look a little more cheerful in neon.
I saw this on Pinterest tonight and instantly fell in love with it! It is totally my style and absolutely gorgeous. I hope I can find something like this for summer.
I did a little bit of online shopping from the comfort of my couch this weekend. Online shopping will never be the same as browsing through the actual store and seeing the items up close but it is handy … Continue reading
